Telecommunications service provider, Airtel Nigeria, has introduced a special data offer that will enable its customers surf the Internet at a reasonably modest rate.

The special data package, tagged: Airtel Magic Box offer, empowers Airtel customers to enjoy Internet services at a discounted rate from as low as 0.1 kobo per megabyte, depending on customer’s allocated Pay- As-You-Go data band, a statement from the firm on Thursday indicated.

The offer, designed for prepaid customers, has nine different PAYU bands, the highest of which provides customers with up to 1GB data bundle.

Speaking on the offer, the Chief Marketing Officer, Airtel, Mr. Olu Akanmu, said the unveiling of Airtel Magic Box further demonstrated the brand’s assurance to Nigerians in its recent brand promise captured in the ongoing advertising campaign on all media platforms – ‘Nigeria, we’ve got you covered.’

Akanmu said, “Airtel’s broadband superiority draws from its 3.75G service widest coverage in Nigeria. Nigerians are assured of the enormous benefits of joining the nation’s network of choice.

“Airtel by its Magic Box offer of 0.1k per MB access to the Internet, is saying to Nigerians, we have got you covered to surf and play abundantly on the Internet.”

He added that the new data offering was coming on the heels of the company’s recent brand campaign break to multiply the options to customers who may wish to take advantage of the acclaimed strength and quality service that the network offers.
