Olotu also visited ongoing transmission projects in Asaba, Delta State; Awka, Anambra State, Ugwuaji and New Heaven, in Enugu State.

Both Umoren and Yahaya, who were members of the inauguration  team, expressed  appreciation to the three tiers of government for investing in the NIPPs.

They pointed out that the projects would boost electricity supply to the consumers and relieve overloaded facilities.

Meanwhile, as part of the project delivery strategy, Chairman of the Board, NDPHC, has slated for end of April, the pre-inauguration milestones’ meeting with the  NDPHC management,  contractors and project consultants.

Sambo, during the January 26 meeting with the distribution and transmission contractors, had given up till the end of June 2013 for the  delivery of  all distribution projects and December 2013 for all transmission projects.
