Ajisegeri said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Thursday in Abuja.

He said the first phase of the project was being implemented in Kaduna, Ogun and Enugu states, while the second phase was ongoing in Cross River and Lagos states.

Ajisegiri said the first phase of the project would end in September, 2013, while the second phase would extend to May 31, 2016.

He said, “We started with the first phase in Ogun, Kaduna and Enugu states with $120m; later on, additional financing of $80m was added; so, for the first phase, it became $200m. Shortly after that, in 2005, we went with the second phase and it had Lagos and Cross River states.”
