RLG Communications Nigeria Limited, a new entrant into the Nigerian mobile phone and computer market, has said it will provide training on applied ICT, aside making quality phones and computers for Nigeria.

The firm said its training programmes in countries such as Ghana, The Gambia, Dubai, China and Kenya had richly improved lives over the years.

The Chief Operating Officer of the company, Mr. Taiwo Latilo, said this in Lagos at the unveiling of a free ride initiative of the firm.

He said RLG remained committed to its philosophy of producing and delivering high quality products and services, adding, “This is because of our long-held belief that businesses are more likely to do well in a flourishing society than one that is falling apart.

“We believe in being socially responsible in the markets that we operate in and acknowledge that we exist and operate in a shared environment.”

He said the firm’s support for the people knew no bound, as it had entrenched a policy geared towards community development.

Describing the training activities by the company in Osun State as enormous, he said the move was targeted at training 20,000 youths on computer repairs and mobile phones.

Latilo said, “We are simply committed to youths of Nigeria and their development, thereby complementing government’s efforts to make life better for its citizens.”

RLG Communications is a manufacturer of communications equipment such as mobile handsets, electronic notebooks, tablets, laptops, LCD TV monitors, among others.

The company is also into capacity building and training programmes on computer programming, hardware, software, and local and wide area networking.
