Unilever rewards marketers

As part of efforts to reward its loyal marketers, Unilever Nigeria has started giving out cars and other prizes to its retailers in 42 markets across the country.

The Sales Director, Unilever, Mr. Kweku Boateng, said this while presenting a car to the firm’s best marketer of its Knorr and Royco seasoning products at Oke Arin Market, Lagos.

He said, “The Knorr/Royco market visibility contest is a retailer visibility challenge that ran in 42 markets across regions in Nigeria, such as Lagos, West, South Central, South East, Middle Belt, North West and North Central and lasted for four weeks.”

Apart from cars, he said retailers were also rewarded with gifts such as deep freezers, refrigerators, coolers and others.

To participate in the competition, he said, the retailers had to have a minimum of 10 cases of any Unilever seasoning product, and they were awarded points for the creative display of the products in  their shops.

Once they were able to buy the required quantity and well displayed, he said, they were qualified to be winners.
