Nihinlola becomes BTS president

Dr. Ezekiel Nihinlola has been appointed as the President of theological and ministerial training institution, the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary.

Prior to the appointment, Nihinlola was the Rector, Baptist College of Theology, Lagos.

A statement on his appointment said born on September 12, 1958 in Ogbomosho, Nihinlola attended Ilorin Grammar School for his West Africa Senior Secondary School Examination from 1973 to 1977.

He then proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife where he bagged a BSc degree in Biochemistry. He went on to the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary where he bagged his Bachelor of Theology, first class, degree, Master’s and his PhD, specialising in systematic Theology.

According to the statement, in his denominational service, Nhinlola served as a Member. Board of Governors, Baptist College of Theology, Lagos; Ministerial Board, Nigerian Baptist Convention (2008 till date); Global Missions Board, Nigeria Baptist convention (2009 till date) and also Executive Committee, Lagos State Baptist Conference.

Nihinlola, a writer and experienced administrator has authored over eight books, and contributed academic articles to professional journals.

Nihinlola is the current Editor, West African Association of Theological Institutions Journal, a position he has held from 2010 till date. He is also the Secretary, International Council for Higher Education West Africa and, among other positions, Secretary, Sacred-Earth Ministry, NBTS, Ogbomoso.
