Telecoms operator, Etisalat, is celebrating the 2013 Samsung Original Equipment Manufacturer Week.

The programme, which started from June 7, will last till June 27, 2013 at selected Etisalat Experience Centres nationwide, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Through the duration of the week, customers, who visit the selected Etisalat Experience Centres, will receive various offers and giveaways ranging from shopping vouchers,  accessories, device discounts to free data for purchasing selected Samsung devices, it added.

During the period, customers in Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt, who visit Etisalat Experience Centres and purchase certain products will receive a shopping voucher worth N3,000, the firm added.

Also, customers who purchase the Samsung Young device will get the Samsung Young flip cover while those who purchase both the Samsung S4 and Note 8 will get a shopping voucher to the tune of N10,000.

Etisalat said it would provide free data to browse on its ultra-fast Easyblaze 3.75G network for 12 months for customers who make purchases.

The Director, Retail Experience Centres, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr. Charles Ogunwuyi, was quoted in the statement as saying that the company was delighted once again to partner with Samsung for the OEM Week. “The idea behind the OEM Week is to offer our customers and Nigerians in general original products together with Etisalat’s quality services for a well rounded technology experience,” he said.

The Etisalat OEM Week is designed to give emphasis on leading device manufacturers’ products and services and encourage customers to purchase original devices at authorised dealer outlets, especially at Etisalat Experience centres nationwide.

In a related development, Etisalat has received commendations from the Emir of Zazzau,  Alhaji Sheu Idris, who praised the company for giving Nigeria quality network coverage to ensure they communicated easily.

The assessment, he said, was based on the feedback he received from not only his subjects, but also from friends and colleagues across the country.
