According to Hayab, the training is in line with the reforms being implemented in the state civil service to improve the capacity of workers and promote service delivery.

In his message, Governor Mukhtar Yero said the public service week would avail the government, civil servants and other stakeholders the opportunity to share experiences.

The governor added that the week would be used to focus on the civil service and its challenges in modern times.

He stressed the need for public servants to encourage other stakeholders to participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and projects that would enhance the development of the state.
