The Rector/Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Captain Chinyere Kalu, has said the Federal Government has no plans to sell the institution or concede the institution to private entities.
According to Kalu, the college is very key to the socio-economic development of the country, particularly in the area of aerotropolis, which is a process of making the airport environment a city of its own with requisite infrastructure.
A statement by the Principal Public Relations Officer, NCAT, Mr. Philip Dimka, on Monday, quoted the rector as saying this shortly after arriving from the Airport City Construction Summit 2013 in China.
She said the government was implementing an aviation master plan that would boost the sector, emphasise on airport economy and embrace the green prosperity of aerotropolis.
