Ndanusa becomes ICSAN president

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Nigeria’s leading professional body in Corporate Governance and Public Administration, will on Thursday hold the investiture of its 24th President, Dr. Abdu Suleyman Ndanusa.

The new ICSAN president is the current Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to a statement by the Chief Executive Officer/ Registrar, ICSAN, Mr. ‘Dele Togunde, the investiture ceremony heralds the official commencement of another administration and leadership in the institute.

Togunde said, “As a professional body of repute, ICSAN is known to have had a smooth and seamless transition over the years because of the governance structure, which it has put in place within the system.”

He said the investiture would attract dignitaries, the crème-de-la-crème of the society and key players in public and private sectors of the economy.

On the new president, the statement described Ndanusa as “a technocrat par excellence, a thorough-bred professional and an excellent administrator. He is a man whose career path cuts across the private and public sectors of the economy.”
